I suppose you watched the bbc film last night of the chevra shkotzim of stamford hill. Surprised you dont post about it. Gabby Lock again in the news. Will wait for others before I carry on.
ReplyDeleteIt was excellent television entertainment; whether it was a fair representation of SH or of orthodox Judaism is another matter
ReplyDeleteIt was certainly a 'fair' reputation of Stamford Hill. These shkotsim do live here. Osher Shapiro has a lot to answer for. Why have they all left their wives. So now they use these poor teymonim. That is why satmar brought them here. In the US its the same with the Argentinian sefardim to get rid of their old bachurim whom no one wants. SH is really missing leadership. No one is prepared to stand up and call them what they really are.
ReplyDeleteI would say OSHER SHAPIRO has got NOTHING to answer for.He does amazing work with the boys and without him these boys would have nothing.as for gaby schmock he needs to be locked up and the key thrown away the guy and his wife are embarasing
